Hi Bolt Babez!! Sorority recruitment season is right around the corner (can you believe it is almost AUGUST?!) and that means it is time to put together some fun & cute outfits for your recruitment experience. Whether you are a returning member or a potential member we have you covered on all things recruitment! From fun pants to classy dresses Bolt has everything you need to rock this recruitment season. All of these pieces fit into the three different recruitment rounds but are versatile outfits you can rock all year around!
Round #1: Open House/Philanthropy
At most schools, during the first rounds of recruitment, you will receive a t-shirt(s) to wear which means it is all about the bottoms and accessories! Clothing is one of the best ways to show a chapter who you are and express yourself so take this opportunity to do that. If you are loving fun and bright colors I couldn’t recommend our Doll Pink Boot Cut Trousers enough. These pants make a STATEMENT while also being very dressy and classy. If you are going through recruitment where the weather is going to be super hot and humid you may want to reach for a skirt or short option instead! The Bay Side Blue Satin Skirt is another fun option with a pattern that will be cute but also comfortable for all-day wear. Lastly, if you are looking for a pair of shorts to rock for the first round definitely check out the Reese Two-Tone Denim Shorts. The fray and two-tone detailing on these adds a fun twist to a basic pair of shorts. You will love styling these shorts during recruitment and into fall!
Round #2: Sisterhood
During Sisterhood round you get to style your own outfit from head to toe typically (YAY!) which means your personal style gets to shine through! For this round, you want to think of sundresses, rompers, midi skirts, jumpsuits, heels, and really whatever you feel the most confidence in! If you want a fun pattern dress for this round then hands down go with the Cherry Blossom Sun Dress. The color and print of this dress is cute and trendy, plus you can style this dress soooo many ways! Maybe you aren’t a dress girl, but you love a good romper? Then you have to check out the Veronica Blue Off Shoulder Romper. The color of this romper is stunning and the fit is comfortable and airy which is perfect for the warm weather! Finally, if you are in the market for a good midi skirt for recruitment the Marbled Jade Satin Midi Skirt is the perfect option! The silhouette on this skirt is classy & chic and the marble detailing adds a unique twist!
Round #3: Preference
Now that you have reached Preference round you have probably noticed that with each round things get a little more dressier, making this round the fanciest! This is the last time you will be visiting a house before Bid Day so you really want to focus on putting your best foot forward. For this round, the majority of women will be wearing more classic dresses, elegant jumpsuits/rompers, and cocktail-style attire. Just because this round is more elegant and fancy doesn’t mean you can’t still bring your personality! If color is your thing go for it or if you love a good pattern find a fancy but stylish dress to rock! One of my favorite options for this round is the Natalie Tan Organza Babydoll Dress. This is a STUNNING dress that makes a statement with the voluminous skirt while being girly and chic. If you are a gal that loves pink then I can’t recommend the Millie Pink Satin Slit Dress enough! The color & fabric of this dress is amazing while the style is elegant & unique. Lastly, if you are looking for a dress with a pattern the Cloud Nine Embroidered Babydoll Dress is an amazing option! The embroidered flowers and the silky satin fabric makes this dress so flattering and so fancy with the fit being very wearable & comfortable.
We want to wish all of you good luck and vibes when going into recruitment this year! Remember to be yourself, have an open mind, and let your confidence shine through! At Bolt, we are so excited to help you find the perfect recruitment outfit that you will feel amazing in. All of these items are great options for recruitment, but offer versatility to grab these pieces long after recruitment ends. I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful photos rocking Bolt during recruitment and good luck entering the new school year!
XO,
Kylie
